Sign In with a Passkey or a Magic Link
Applies to CoCoCo ID as of 23 September 2026 (source version control v3.4.0). CoCoCo ID is only available in English.
Besides email and password, CoCoCo ID offers two other ways to sign in: a passkey on your device, and a magic link sent by email.
Passkeys
Section titled “Passkeys”A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your device PIN, without typing a password. It is stored on your device and only works for CoCoCo ID.
Add a passkey
Section titled “Add a passkey”- At
id.cococo.tech, click your name at the top right and choose Manage your ID. - Under Sign-in security, click Passkeys.
- Click Add a passkey and confirm on your device with your fingerprint, face or PIN.
The passkey now appears under Your passkeys with the date it was added. If the page says This browser doesn’t support passkeys., use a different browser or device.
Sign in with a passkey
Section titled “Sign in with a passkey”On the sign-in page, click Sign in with a passkey and confirm on your device. You don’t need to enter your email or password.
If you have turned on two-factor authentication, you can also use your passkey as the second step: on the Two-step verification page, click Use a passkey.
Remove a passkey
Section titled “Remove a passkey”On the Passkeys page, click Remove next to the passkey. The message Passkey removed. confirms it.
Magic link
Section titled “Magic link”On the sign-in page, click Email me a magic link, enter your email address and click Send magic link. CoCoCo ID sends you an email with a sign-in link. The link is valid for 15 minutes.
