How to Create a Production Cell
Applies to CoCoCo platform v1.0.0-rc.31. Every step below was run on that version.
A production cell is a named group of work centers — a production area such as Press room or Finishing. You give each work center its cell when you create or edit the work center (see How to Create a Work Center). A cell can carry a colour.
Before you start: you need the permissions to see and create production cells (productionCell:list and productionCell:write). To delete a cell you need productionCell:delete.
Create a production cell
Section titled “Create a production cell”- In the sidebar, under Planning, click Production Cells.
- Click Add Production Cell. The page New Production Cell opens.
- Enter a Name, for example
Finishing. - Optionally enter a Color Code as a hex colour, for example
#10B981. - Click Save. The message Production Cell created appears and the cell opens for editing.
The list shows each cell with its colour. To find one, type into Search by name.
Change or delete a production cell
Section titled “Change or delete a production cell”- To change a cell, click the pencil (Edit) on its card, change it and click Save.
- To delete a cell, click the bin (Delete) on its card and confirm Delete Production Cell? with Delete. The work centers in the cell stay; they simply no longer belong to a cell.
