How to Assign Capabilities to a Work Center

Capabilities describe what a Work Center can do — the job types it can handle, media formats it supports, and any production-specific attributes. They are used by the production planning tools to route jobs to the right machine.

  1. Go to Data → Work Centers
  2. Open the Work Center you want to configure
  3. Go to the Capabilities tab
  4. Click + Add Capability
  5. Select the Capability type and fill in the values
  6. Click Save
  • Capabilities can be added, edited, or removed at any time
  • A Work Center can have multiple Capabilities
  • The available Capability types depend on your platform configuration
