Create Your CoCoCo ID

Applies to CoCoCo ID as of 23 September 2026 (source version control v3.4.0). CoCoCo ID is only available in English.

Your CoCoCo ID is your personal account. You use it to sign in to your CoCoCo instance, to Control and to id.cococo.tech.

Start with your email address

1. Open id.cococo.tech/users/register. The page only opens when you are signed out. If you are already signed in, you are sent elsewhere.
2. Under Work email, enter your email address and click Continue with email.

If an ID with this email address already exists, the form shows an error. In that case, click Sign in below the form.

Step 1 — Confirm your email address

CoCoCo ID sends a 6-digit code to your email address. Enter it on the Check your inbox page and click Verify email.

• The code is valid for 10 minutes.
• After 5 wrong attempts, the code can no longer be used.
• Resend code sends you a new code. Use a different email takes you back to the start.

Step 2 — Set a password

Enter a password under New password and repeat it under Confirm password. It must be 12 to 72 characters long. Click Save & continue.

Step 3 — Add your details

Enter your First name, Last name and Your role, and add a photo if you like. All of these are optional. Click Continue. You are now signed in.

Step 4 — Add an extra lock (optional)

CoCoCo ID offers two-factor authentication right away. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, enter the 6-digit code and click Turn on 2FA. If you can’t scan the code, Can’t scan? Enter this key in your app shows the key to type in instead. You can also click Add a passkey instead, or Skip for now.

The page You’re all set confirms your ID. Click Enter your console to continue.
