Setup Checklist
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”This checklist walks you through setting up CoCoCo from scratch. Each step builds on the previous one — work through them in order for the smoothest experience.
Step 1: Invite your team
Section titled “Step 1: Invite your team”Before anything else, get your people into the platform.
- Go to Identity & Access in the left sidebar
- Create a Policy that fits the role (e.g. Admin, Read-Only)
- Create a User and assign the Policy
- Repeat for each team member
Step 2: Create a Network
Section titled “Step 2: Create a Network”A Network is the container for all your connected machines and devices.
- Go to Menu → Networks and click + Add Network
- Give it a name (e.g.
Main Production Floor) and save
Step 3: Connect your Devices
Section titled “Step 3: Connect your Devices”- Go to Menu → Devices and click + Add Device
- Select the Network, set the protocol (MQTT, HTTP, JMF, or SQL)
- Create a Device Token for authentication and save
Step 4: Set up your Production Structure
Section titled “Step 4: Set up your Production Structure”- Data → Production Cells → create a cell (e.g.
Digital Printing) - Data → Work Centers → add your machines, people, or tools
- Assign each Work Center to a Production Cell
- Add Capabilities where needed
Step 5: Configure Tenant Settings
Section titled “Step 5: Configure Tenant Settings”- Go to Menu → Developer → Config
- Add CONFIG entries for settings and SECRET entries for credentials
Step 6: Build your first Workflow
Section titled “Step 6: Build your first Workflow”- Go to Menu → Workflows and click + New Workflow
- Define a trigger, add nodes, and activate
Step 7: Set up Notifications
Section titled “Step 7: Set up Notifications”- Go to Menu → Notification Groups and create a group
- Add recipients and link to relevant Workflows
You’re ready
Section titled “You’re ready”Once all seven steps are done, your platform is live. Use the reference articles to go deeper on any topic.
